Custom Home with Remote Inline Fans

Catalyst Construction, a custom home builder from Kansas, is working on a custom home in Prairie Village, KS. In an effort to minimize the exterior penetrations on this new construction, as well as provide a small, well-designed, clean system desired by the architect and homeowner, they chose the remote-mount CVS inline four-port fan from Fantech.
The fan easily accommodates the needs of the homeowner by exhausting multiple areas with only one exterior penetration. They will utilize one fan for the baths on the lower level, while another fan will be dedicated to the bathrooms on the main level.
Not only will this remote bath fan offer proper and quick humidity exhaust, but the remote location of the fan itself offers nearly a Zero Sone Experience at the intake location. The fan’s vibrations can create unwanted noise while sitting on the ceiling joists, so Travis and Joe made sure to locate the fans in areas where the sound would be minimized.
To learn more about the advantage of remote fan installation, see what Travis and Joe have to say about the project!
